These are photos of a Red-winged Blackbird that I took during a recent visit to the Marine Nature Study Area in Oceanside. It was a typical July day, very hot and very humid. Unfortunately, it was also overcast. I took a lot of pics with this extremely boring white background. Luckily, with much use of my exposure compensation dial, I still managed to get some decent pics, even when my subject was up against that all-white sky. JK.

He looks like he has a little smile, especially in the second picture. And the background makes him look like he’s in a studio about to start filming for an action-packed nature movie that requires special effects to be added to the back plain screen. Maybe he’s thinking, “Now, it’s just ‘Nature’; next it could be Hollywood!” 😉
Michele, maybe he could co-star in the next Indiana Jones movie. 🙂 JK.
