This sounds like it should be the title of a poem or some Romantic novel. “A Willet In The Dunes”. Go for it, Joe Kayaker!
I haven’t written a bodice-ripper since college. And if I were to attempt a poem with that title, it would be too cerebral for the likes of me. I’m much more Ogden Nash than Robert Frost or Walt Whitman. JK.
Well, you came up with the title. I think the seed is there. Let your inner Horace roam. 😉
Here walks a Willet
Looks like he’s on stillets. 🙂 JK.
I enjoyed my Inner Ogden so much that I decided to add it to the post. JK.
It is catchy, but Horace encourages you to keep at it. 😉
Horace is very demanding. Please remind him that Mr. Nash made a living with several small poems, many as tiny as this one. JK.
Horace has gotten demanding and grumpy in his old age, yes. You think I’m going to convince him about two line poems?
