…there are those Blue-winged Teals. I like the angle you get…so close to the water. Were you in your Kayak when you took them or laying in the mud like with the Wood Ducks?
I was in my kayak for this shot. The boat does offer a somewhat unique perspective, although these three were so far off that I might have been able to get a similar angle from the shore. The Wood Duck shot was in a very small pond that is fairly heavily wooded. I had to shoot beneath some low-hanging branches. Besides, what’s a little mud to a REAL man? I’m not sure myself but if I run into one I’ll be sure to ask him. 🙂 JK
