A Chipmunk in Sag Harbor

Thursday, December 31, 2020,

Here we are at the year’s end. At last. It’s been a tough year for most of us. Very few folks have not experienced economic hardship, or worse, the loss of people they know and love. There is an old curse, often attributed to a Chinese origin, that states, “May you live in interesting times.” I, for one, am ready for a little boredom. And with that in mind, I offer you two rather mundane photographs of a Chipmunk that I encountered whilst hiking. Let’s end this year with some cuteness. I wish all of you a happier and healthier coming year than the one we’ve just experienced. Be well, my friends.  JK.

  1. Chipmunks are NEVER boring!
Oh, but cute indeed! Thank you! 🙂
Here’s to a much better and brighter new year!

  2. Happy New Year Joe. I also would say that chipmunks are never boring. Just terminally cute, which is never a bad thing.

  3. Happy New Year to you as well, India. “Terminally cute” Chipmunks must be why you never see them in hospitals. They’re just too dang dangerous in certain situations. 🙂 JK.
