It’s been a very busy year for me, and I don’t get out nearly as much as I used to. I was finally able to visit Nickerson Beach about a week ago to see my beloved Oystercatchers. I may have missed breeding season, but I still managed to observe a large mixed flock of Oystercatchers and Black Skimmers. Here are two pics of one of the Oystercatchers in its search for Mole Crabs. JK
