Look at those ears. This young whitetail is certainly ready for the cold weather. His winter coat includes built-in insulation for his ears as well as the rest of his body. And now that winter has finally arrived, he’ll have need of that protection. Stay warm, little buddy. JK
What a fuzzy creature! But you should see Moon’s ears — makes this guy’s almost naked. 😉 There are deer out by him too — I wonder if they have a hard time having conversations in the winter. A lot of “Heh? What’d you say?” going on.
