Only saw two butterflies this season (along with tiny blues and cabbage moths) and one caterpillar on fennel Very disappointing. How sad to think so many things are on their way out. . . . .did have a young buck on the patio snacking on yews.

It seems there are fewer each year. I did see a couple last week in Lido Beach, which, really, is not many. I was lucky enough to find a few Red Admirals though. JK.

I have a friend who raises Monarchs each year and released 16 of them this year, I believe. A little bit to help the cause.
