These two pics are from the same shot. The pic above is cropped a bit tighter than the one below. I can’t decide which one works better. Any help? JK

I like the second one artistically because the grasses add a bit of “on the outside looking in”, but if you’re after detail and drama, the first one is really nice. Knowing me….I’d go for the first one, to catch that beautiful eye and the fantastic wing…

Thank you readers. I think for web purposes the first one works okay but when or if I print this one up I’ll go with the second one. I tend to print big – 13×19 – and at that size the the eye, which was one of my consideration before I posted these shots, will still show up pretty good. JK
