Oh, I had thought so, but then saw a lot of similarities to the two female turkeys I had seen. Did he open his fan up too?
No fan, but can you see the tuft of hair-like feathers hanging from his chest? It’s partially blocking your view of his left foot. That is usually referred to as a “beard” and only the male Turkeys have them. JK.
