An interesting composition — almost like a time delay with one butterfly on an intact coneflower and the other on an eaten one. Makes it look like the butterfly devoured the flower! 🙂 Are those skipper butterflies? I see those around sometimes. Pretty little creatures.
Hello Michele. They are both Silver-Spotted Skippers. Despite the largely brown coloration, I have always found them to be rather photogenic. JK.
