This is a pair of White-tailed Deer I saw at West Meadow Beach. They’re both in their summer colors – I love that red – and the male is sporting the start of a fine pair of antlers. These two deer are obviously fond of each other. If this keeps up, they may be dance partners during the autumn rutting season. JK
